Stuart Stimpson is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School. He was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2003 and has received training in Mediation from the Dispute Resolution Foundation in Jamaica.

As a former Associate with the firm of Myers, Fletcher & Gordon and Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers, Stuart gained significant civil litigation, conveyancing and commercial law experience, while representing some of the island's leading private sector entities, government departments and statutory bodies. He has developed expertise in dealing with an array of matters including: land/tenant claims; property disputes; family law; personal injury claims; debt recovery; industrial relations; and the modification & discharge of restrictive covenants.

Stuart currently maintains a mixed practice, which spans Civil Litigation; Conveyancing; and Commercial Law. He was recently elected to serve as a member of the Jamaican Bar Association's management committee, the Bar Council.
